Question Time

Hi Everyone -

First off, I have been remiss in thanking everyone for the wonderful comments you have been leaving on my blog.  I feel like if I would meet you in person, I would know you; it is as if we are one big family and that such a nice feeling.

I have been reading on some blogs where people ask you questions and, if they aren't too personal, you answer them back.  It is really interesting what people are asking about and the answers that go with them.  I love hearing about how everyone got into certain forms of decorating, etc.

I have given this a lot of thought, and if you would like to ask me a question, go ahead and I will try and answer it the best that I can.  I will give everyone until February 15 to ask their questions and I will post answers on February 16. Leave me a question on this post.  That gives everyone 4 days.  This should be interesting.  I'm sure that my family members, who read this, will REALLY be interested in what I have to say.

No pictures this post, but I have to say, I am so ready for spring.  We still have snow on the ground, not near as much as those of you who live up North.  I do feel for you.  We really need sunshine too.  It makes everyone feel better and also be in a better mood.

My bulbs that I planted last fall are coming up and the crocus should be blooming in another couple of weeks.  I will post pictures when they bloom.

Better go.  I am looking forward to your questions.  If I don't post before Valentine's Day, everyone have a wonderful day with their loved ones.

Maxine

I am a fan of junking too. I love to repurpose items like using Mom's old millchest for art supplies and a wardrobe for a pantry.

What is the strangest thing that you have that is not used for its original purpose?

Hey Maxine, great idea for a post!

Here's a question that's related to absolutely nothing at all... how tall are you? I always wonder more about what my blogging buddies look like than what their pictures show... I'm almost 6' tall! Kind of a silly question, I know, but there it is!

Have a great weekend! Kimberly

Maxine~ What a good idea. I would like to now more about the miniature schnauzers that you have pictures of. AS you know, we have two that we think are the sweetest puppies in the world. Can you give us some background on yours? Thank you for visiting my blog. I really appreciate it. I look forward to reading your February 16th post. I hope you have a great evening. ~Dan~

Maxine,
I was wondering if it was hard putting down your own wood floors? Are they interlocking panels? How long did it take?

We have been wanting to get wood floors, but haven't decided yet as to what kind to get.. I want to be sure that they don't scratch easily..and that they hold up well.

Love your minature schnauzer.. Our Fritzi, a minature schnauzer too, passed away last Dec. They make such wonderful pets..

Blessings,
~Lynn

Fun post, Maxine! I enjoyed looking at your hometown pics. I'm from a small town and picked to live in a small town...I'm no city girl! LOL Looking at high school got me wondering...Were you a good student? :)

Oh and your new floors look great!

Maxine, This will be fun. I almost missed the deadline! LOL!
What is your favorite prim piece?
I enjoy seeing your pics and learning more about you. I live in a smallish town, but the past few years, it has turned into a much bigger city of around 40,000.
I'm a country girl too and wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm looking forward to reading your post tomorrow!
Have a great week.

First let me say thank you for visiting my blog. Please come again soon.

Of course I had to drop by and see what the Farmers Oldest Daughter has to say. Your blog is certainly a treat to read.

I know the name Corn, OK but I'm sorry to say I'd never heard of Bessie before.

My hometown is Bartlesville in NE OK and until a year ago that's where my husband and I lived. We bought a few acres some time back and when we retired we built a home on it. It's about 35 miles from Bartlesville and is near our daughter's home.

Please visit me anytime. I'll be back to see you soon.
